Northern Beaches Hospital Breast Cancer MDT

This multidisciplinary team (MDT) includes specialists, nurses and a variety of other health professionals who work together to coordinate the care of patients with cancer.

Canrefer does not list all MDT members, only specialists that patients may be referred to during their initial diagnosis and treatment.

All people with cancer should have their care overseen by a specialist who is an active member of a multidisciplinary team.

Local referral guidelines have been developed for each tumour stream at Northern Beaches Hospital.
