Dubbo Health Service is a large regional hospital. It provides a range of medical and surgical services and includes a chemotherapy unit.  It is supported by a 24 hour emergency department, intensive care unit, palliative care unit and Breastscreen. Dubbo Base Hospital is a part of the Western New South Wales Local Health District.
