Riverina Cancer Care Centre Urological Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) is a group of health professionals from different disciplines (specialists, doctors, nurses and allied health professionals) who discuss treatment options and manage a patients urological cancer.
This approach to patient care draws on the knowledge, skills and expertise of a range of organisations and professionals. Each team member works together to manage a patient’s condition to the highest possible standard of care.
Usually, teams meet face-to-face or by teleconference on a regular basis, depending on the availability and geographic location of team members, specialists bring their identified caseload to the meeting for discussion and cross-referral.
The multidisciplinary team meeting is run out of a private facility, however all public and private patients are discussed.
This team comprises of the following cancer specialists and allied health professionals.
This MDT may also draw expertise from professionals specialising in the following roles as required on a case-by-case basis.

Patients are referred to this MDT via one of the specialists listed in this team.
